About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To immerse myself in different cultures and discover the beauty of diversity within people and places

ABOUT ME

Having recently completed my university studies, I am spending 2011 and part of 2012 travelling to Europe, USA, China and South East Asia.

I am largely unsure of what my future holds, so I seek an adventure of discovery which will broaden my knowledge of the world, and open my eyes.

I grew up in Sydney, Australia. I have travelled to various places, however it is only now that I realise how isolated my home city is, and how much more there is to explore overseas.

I am outgoing, fun, enthusiastic and easy going. I enjoy learning about my travel destinations and the history behind them. I make every effort to immerse myself in the local culture, both socially and organically.

I love to meet new people and hear their stories, and I look forward to making many new friends on my travels.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in honest and natural personalities. I try to be myself and do what I feel is right for me. I don't try to change my ways, nor do I try to convince other people to change.

I think everyone should attempt to spend their time doing what they love, and if that can't be achieved, then at least do it on weekends! Life is not about money or status, it is about being content.

Money does not equal success, and status is not measured by money. I try not to associate with people who are driven by material desires, or people with fabricated personalities.

Human nature is most beautiful in its purest form, free from the distortion of ambition and greed.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent 5 days living in a prison in the Philippines. This was the most challenging and confronting experience of my life. I saw poverty, violence, trauma and death exercise their influence over people, yet I also recognised the power of happiness, hope and love in developing a purpose in a person's life.
