CURRENT MISSION

I want to see the rest of Europe, Specifically the Southern Region. I will be driving from country to country for the next month and want to meet all the cultures along the way. I want to go all the way to Istanbul and back.

ABOUT ME

I'm an American living in Europe. I'm living here for a few years and then I'm going to Japan or England. Whenever I'm not working I'm just driving around the German Countryside or The Nurburgring. I am down for any adventure however big or small it might be.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

You can see a thousand cities, within those cities are beautiful buildings and works of art, yet all they are stone, brick, and mortar. All they can tell you for sure is that they have been here a long time.

I don't care about the buildings. I want to know about the builders. The people who built them, lived and died in them.

Every building is all the same, four walls and a roof, but every person is unique and has a story to tell.

Interests

Adventure! I just love to see the world and discover the paths others have not taken. I routinely travel to different castles just so I can sit and read a book in a quiet place.

I carry a folding Tern Bike in my car with me on most trips. It's just so relaxing biking across the French and German countrysides.

I also hobby in Watchmaking and hope to make a career out of it once I'm done with my current job.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all movie genres but I absolutely love cheesy 80s Action movies, Commando, Die Hard, Rambo, Ect... Musically I'm into bands like Modest Mouse, Siddharta, The Killers, and Red Hot Chili Peppers. I also love Finnish Metal, Swedish, too. ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I nearly died in Andorra. I was trapped in a blizzard in the Pyranees mountains and nearly froze to death but survived when I broke into the Andorran Border Police station for shelter. Worst and best weekend of my life.

I once picked up 2 English hitchhikers in France and drove them to Poland and slept in a Petrol Station for the night, all because I enjoyed the company and had nothing better to do.
