Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just spent the last 5 years in Beautiful British Columbia. I will miss you BC, your mountains, amazing snow and little island gems. Now to check out the eastern part of Canada before moving to San Francisco in the New Year.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Great time hosting a couple of guys from Berlin (not technically thru the couch surfing project but they did stay on the couch for 3 weeks) Served up some Great beef Goulash and cremed spinanch! The Pickled Fish was not so flash tho!

Defintely looking forward to meeting people and experience their hometown. Watch this space!

Interests

Talking, Drinking and Cooking/Eating, very compatible with travelling.
Learning about People: I find people fascinating creatures. Professionally, I'm curious and passionate about how our cities work, how our lives are shaped by how we move around cities and the buildings that we live.

Music, Movies, and Books

Films: City of God, Trainspotting, Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrel in recent years. Full Metal Jacket and other Kubrik classics, Dead Poet Society, Stand By Me for old favourites. Bit of a nerd for well made documentaries, especially ones about history and civilization.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking to obscure waterfalls in the jungle in Vietnam and jumping into the pools. Hang-gliding in Switzerland was pretty amazing too, the feeling of flight!

Teach, Learn, Share

Share - Cooking/Eating; one of two pleasures of the modern world. Love to cook and love to eat.
Teach - Would love to teach the world on the intricacy of cricket and dispel the reputation of been a boring game. Just beause it takes 5 days to complete doesnt mean its boring at all!
