O mnie
I'm a new-to-traveling student who's hopping from class to class, occasionally pausing at gigs, festivals, and really wherever friends are to be found! I'm here on couch surfing due to the aforementioned status (student) and the chronic illness that comes along with it (budgetitis). Looking forward to meeting you all!

Muzyka, filmy i książki
Absolute die-hard fan of Queens of the Stone Age, Silversun Pickups, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and quite a few other rock groups (be they classic or hardcore), with a small guilty-pleasure-esque affinity for modern rock-pop (Bruno Mars, Pharrell Williams, etc.).
In terms of movies: Tarantino holds a special place in my heart (and/or dopamine centers, but who's keeping track). Usually a fan of spy or psychological thrillers, the occasional rom-com (Silver Lining's Playbook, anyone?) and a fair amount of shallow action/comedy stuff. For TV, I'm a huge fan of the Office (American version), Archer, and (my all time favorite) Trailer Park Boys.
Books-wise: I tend to go for deep, intense sci-fi or fantasy (Neuromancer, the Black Company, Necroscope...) and usually give my brain a rest after completing such a novel by reading some light fluff type stuff. Though I am partial to pseudo-science and military fiction (Tom Clancy and Malcolm Gladwell stand out as some of my favorite overall authors, with Ray Kurzweil's "The Singularity is Near" as the next book on my list). And despite not reading many, I've never come across a DC comic I haven't liked (Marvel too, for the most part).
Jedna niesamowita rzecz, którą zrobiłem(-am)
I'm a college Freshman, never been out of the States for longer than a week, never been to Europe, and I've only been to the actual university campus in Boston (Northeastern University) twice (for orientation stuff). Ignoring all that, I've spent my first semester studying in Berlin! Crazy to move out and immediately cross the world. I'm loving it so far (got about a month left as of November 13, 2017), but I'm still excited to get back to Boston.

I'm absolutely open to any and all political discussion (as long as everyone remains calm, rational, and hopefully respectful). I've spent a while studying the political systems of the EU, and am happy to explain or talk about those. In high school, I specialized in constitutional law and general global security policy, so I'm always open for discussions about those sorts of things.
I'm also an amateur electric bass player; I've been playing for a little over 2 years, and while I'm not amazing by any stretch of the imagination, I can get stuff down. As such, I'm absolutely always, always, ALWAYS down to jam if you play guitar, drums, or sing! I likely won't have my instrument with me when I'm traveling, but if you've got a spare bass lying around, I'm happy to give it a go! :)
Czym mogę się podzielić z gospodarzami
I'm happy to share my labor, knowledge, and contacts with hosts. I haven't been around too much, but through both international study programs, largely hanging out with international students, and exclusively staying at hostels of the "social" variety, I've got friends in quite a few places. If you're planning a trip, I might know someone nearby!
Though I'm sure most couchsurfers are well-versed in traveling on a budget, I'm a recent study-abroad student who's taken advantage of my time in Europe by traveling as much as possible. I'm more than happy to share my tips, tricks, and loose guidebook-style notes with you! Whether you're trying to figure out what to do in whatever city, how to get there for X$ or less, or even just where you want to go, let me know!
I can do dishes, run errands, clean houses, and the other usual general labor stuff if need be. I'm also relatively good at jerry-rigging technology, so if you're having problems of the electronic nature, let me know! No guarantees, but I'll try my best.
Finally, if you look through the other sections of my bio, you'll see the various things I've studied, done, experienced, or the like; as the son of a Public High School Teacher, I'm happy to teach anyone anything that I know or discuss almost anything about politics, music, or a plethora of other topics.
