Overview
About Me
Pretty short. Smiles a lot. It's important to me that the people who are affected by an outcome are consulted in the decision-making process.
I love ideas. I love seeing new things and learning about new things, and I love working on my games! Most of my games come from little moments that I'd like to re-create or ideas of how I'd like the players to interact. I think about games rather a lot!
Last year I fell in love, and now forces have conspired to take us on a trip to Europe! I feel like a big dork writing about love on the internet. Ha!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Ah! Well, we were planning on staying with my friend Mike, a recent arrival to Dublin, but he's having trouble finding a place! Since the tickets were already booked we decided to visit even though he can't host us. But where will we stay? Someone told us about couchsurfing.com... fingers crossed!
Interests
Well, I like collaborative in-person imagination games. There's a bunch of folks who discuss them on the internet and I like participating in that.
I've recently been getting more serious about blues dancing. It's a partner dance with no basic step, so the dancers have to pay close attention to one another. We're excited to dance with the folks at Arthur's Pub on Thursday nights. If the photos are to be believed, it seems like a really great scene!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love music I can dance to! I love music with interesting drums, and also bassy drone stuff.
Really sharp comedies. Timing!
Sometimes a good phrase can pull a little tear outta you, know what I mean? I like books that can do that, sort of overwhelm me with the humongousness of the world for a moment.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hmm. I've hitch-hiked across Canada. Canada's pretty big, as it turns out.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Perhaps we could play a game together? I also have some pretty funny anecdotes about my nieces!
