About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I'll be taking French classes in Toulouse, France this summer. In the Fall, I resume my Computer Science studies at the University of Utah, USA.
ABOUT ME
I'm an outgoing nerd. On the one hand, I love to read and study. But I also treasure the considerable time I spend with my close group of friends. I like to backpack, philosophize, drink beer, play games/sports, and explore new places.
I recently finished my fifth year of university. My field of study is Computer Science. Upon graduation, I plan to work as a software engineer. Before finding Computer Science, I wanted to go to medical school. I completed three years of coursework in chemistry, biology, and physics. I also taught Organic Chemistry for a semester.
I'm also very interested in history, and language. I've been teaching myself French for a few months.
My mom is a pharmacist at a psychiatric hospital. My dad is a realtor. My younger brother is twenty-one years old. He studies mechanical engineering at the University of Utah. My best friends are entrepreneurs, medical students, and writers. They mean the world to me.
My last job was at a biotechnology startup. I worked there for 9 months. The whole experience was incredibly educational. I loved that I was able to jump around to try different things.

None at all! But my two closest friends frequently host guests and have been guests themselves. They are convinced that Couchsurfing is one of the greatest things ever. The idea sounds superb to me and I trust my friends' judgement, so I thought I'd give it a go!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I summited a sizable mountain peak last summer in Salt Lake City's Wasatch Mtn. Range. Shortly after reaching the top, a thunderstorm suddenly came down, out of nowhere, on my 3 friends and me. Our way back down-- a steep and exposed face-- was still covered in snow, so we had to literally skate down half the mountain! Where it had taken us several hours to climb this span of terrain, it took us only 20 minutes to get back down. Luckily, the lightning spared us.
