CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to travel the world, and to document the sights, emotions, people, and stories I encounter with writing and song.

ABOUT ME

As Jesse Lacey of Brand New best put it, "I write more postcards than hooks, I read more maps than books", which I feel is a killer description of my state of being. There's many reasons to travel, if not just to see the world, meet incredible people, enjoy new food, and make memories. It involves stretching myself, always dealing with challenges, and growing through the whole process. For me as well, I love figuring out what my next songs are going to be about. I'm always thinking up how to put the stories I encounter into words and music, and traveling equals constant inspiration. So I love traveling, and I'll never quit. It's a way of keeping learning going throughout your whole life, because stopping learning, no matter how old you are, is mental death.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm offering my floor with a mattress in Perugia, and when I return to Seattle I'll offer a couch. Also my parent's have a place in beautiful Gig Harbor, an hour south of Seattle.
