Hey Everybody,

My name is Jackson and I am currently hiking the Pacific Crest Trail. It’s been the most amazing experience I’ve ever had but unfortunately I injured my foot after walking 566 miles from Mexico to Tehachapi, CA. I am looking for a place to stay in San Francisco for a few days while I rest my foot and let it heal. Outside of hiking I work in software and commodities sales. I am very polite, outgoing, will be respectful of your home, more than happy to help with chores, and can pay as well for a place to stay. San Francisco is perhaps one of my favorite places to visit so I’m looking forward to it!

I'm on Couchsurfing to meet new people and see new parts of the world. I think the best thing anyone can do to improve themselves and grow is to travel.

Intereses

I have a lot of interest. My favorite hobby is definitely birdwatching. Besides that I love playing the guitar, hiking, reading all sorts of books, and turning up. I also enjoy speaking French. Besides that I love just having a good time, meeting new people, and seeing new things. I'm also 420 friendly and non-judgemental about what anyone chooses to do in their free time.

As cliche as it sounds, my favorite book is the Great Gatsby. Besides that I love For Whom the Bell Tolls, A Farwell to Arms, The Catcher in the Rye, This Side of Paradise, I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell,

Music-Led Zeppelin, Coldplay, Tupac, Lil Boosie, Eric Church, Jack Johnson, Robert Johnson, The Eagles, Snoop Dogg/Dr. Dre, I pretty much like/can tolerate just about any type of music.

Probably the most amazing thing I have done was having the opportunity to work at the United States Senate. My job was a Senate Page. My job basically consisted of me and other pages from all over the United States to work in the Senate Chamber. We would set up Senator's desk, get them water, prepare the Senate Dais, and run important packages and amendments all over Capitol Hill. My favorite part was being able to hold the original gavel used by the Continental Congress. How many people can say they have done that? Lastly, just the fact that you get to see congress in action up front and personal was an amazing experience.

I can definitely teach anyone some basic French that could help them navigate. I also can teach some guitar basics as well. If you're trying to learn how to birdwatch then I'm definitely your guy.
