ABOUT ME

I'm a student currently travelling through india and the middle east,
I'll be available for hosting when I get back to Australia early in 2012.

PHILOSOPHY

I get great satisfaction from being as independent as possible. If I own/want something, I want to know how it is made and if I can make it as well or better than commercially available options.
Not necessarily "handicrafts" in the bazaar stall sense, I prefer to make furniture, clothes, food, etc.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm yet to have a CS mediated couch experience although, with incredible good fortune I've been welcomed into some truly beautiful homes while I've been in India

Interests

My interests. Since I was a kid I've always wanted to know more. My recent/current travel has given me plenty of opportunities to be confronted with new ideas/philosophies and ways of life.

At home, good coffee, good beer, good weather, good people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Recently I've read: empire of the sun by JG Ballard, the island by Aldous Huxley, Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand, Papillon by Henri Charriere, The Hobbit, Down and out in london and paris by George Orwell and others.

Music: folk influenced music generally, although, if its well written and reasonably sincere I'll listen to almost any style
