Hello!
I'm a 24-year old freelancer--I work in film production. Originally from the beautiful city of Madison, Wisconsin, but now I live in Brooklyn New York and make movies for a living.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing is an amazing way to see the world and to meet new people!

I have CouchSurfed a few times in the past; twice in Annapolis, Maryland and once in Ithaca, NY. All three of these occasions were done through my family's CouchSurfing profile, so that's why they don't show up on this profile.

In Maryland, we stayed with a woman who, after meeting us for the very first time, told us that she would be out of the country for several days and handed us the keys to her house--and car. She left to Puerto Rico and we didn't hear from her again until we were long gone! Constantly amazed by the generosity of the people on this site.

Interests

Cinematography is my passion and it's something that I hope to do for the rest of my life, whether I'm in the United States or elsewhere.

Also love speaking Spanish, jamming (music), and art of all kinds.

I'm a big outdoorsman as well! I've backpacked and camped in Texas, Wisconsin, Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, Tennessee, Norway, and many other places. I love to swap stories about this stuff.
