Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling and Couchsurfing seems like a really good way to get to know locals.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite music changes to frequently to keep track of, although you can never go wrong with RHCP, Nirvana, The Stranglers, RATM, Mozart or a bit of KoRn.

My all time favourites are The Shawshank Redemption, L'armée des Ombres (The Army of Shadows), Groundhog Day, Superbad, Hot Fuzz and The Lion King.

My favourite books are Born Liars by Ian Leslie, Gödel, Escher, Bach: An Eternal Golden Braid by Douglas Hofstadter and Lens of the World by R. A. MacAvoy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a week living in the wilderness of Northern Scotland when I was 13. This involved a diet consisting of limpets, wood sorrel and mossy water.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love teaching and learning languages. I can teach French and am looking to learn German.

I also enjoy musical instruments and would love to trade a few guitar riffs or learn some piano.

I am willing to share anything and find that free things are often the best to share.
