My name is Jacob and I am 18 years old travelling Europe on my gap year. I finished my schooling last year and will go to the university next year. I'm a very outgoing, friendly person and have a love for travel, languages and sport. Back in Australia it's just me, my sister and both mum and dad. Overall, I'm just your average 18 year old boy who loves to have fun and meet new people!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I've mentioned in the 'about me' section, I am currently travelling around Europe, trying to discover and see new places the best way possible. The majority of my time here, I have been staying at hostels and I am finding it can often be difficult to experience the city and its culture properly, as you are with people who also know little about the place. My friend told me about couch surfing and said it was a great way to get around, but also meet new people and see a city far more effectively (both things I love doing)!
