This my first time ever traveling abroad by myself! I have dreamed of doing this for so long and super excited I have finally taken the leap. I currently live in Miami Beach, FL, USA, but moved here from NYC where I resided for 8yrs and met the best people in my life! Some of whom I will be visiting along the way.
My journey begins In NYC to hang with my family/ homies before my adventures abroad. Madrid will be my first stop to say HI to a friend from NYC and drop off a suitcase at his place while I prepare for a backpack trip to Sri Lanka, Sydney, Australia and Southeast Asia (I'm really not sure of where to go, but open for suggestions). The final plan is to stay in Madrid for the summertime and travel around Europe at any given chance.

All that said, I need to Couch surf in some areas where I know no one, but would like to experience this with someone active and enthusiastic about their environment with an open mind to share culture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I travel I love to learn from the locals and do minimal touristy things as possible, unless if it's a MUST DO in a certain destination. I love meeting new people, I'm very social, but highly respectful of one's personal time. I'm not high maintenance, super simple here. A place to lay my head, to shower, and prepare a meal or two is plenty for me.

I'm very open to music, in fact one of my best talents is singing. I read a lot of books on personal growth and spirituality ...'The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari' and 'The Four Agreements' are two of my favorites.

I love Suspense, Psychological Thrillers, and of course Comedy...I love to laugh! I've been known to binge on a series...'Sense8', 'Velvet', 'Bates Motel', 'Gotham', 'Game of Thrones', 'AHS' and so many documentaries.
