About Me
Hi I'm Jake, a friendly guy from England. I am cycling to France to do some volunteering on a farm and to try to improve my French! I'm just finishing my second year as an Ancient History student in Exeter, southwest England, and am always looking for an adventure. I work as a waiter in a pizza restaurant and enjoy running, cycling, swimming, (trying) surfing and being outside in nature! Currently volunteering on an organic vegetable and goat farm in Brittany, after which I’ll be travelling around the region for 5 days. I'll be camping mostly but hoping to have some human interaction somewhere! I'm always excited to meet new people, and am very considerate and easy to get on with.
When I'm at home I'm down to meet up but can't host as I live in a houseshare.

Music, Movies, and Books
Try to read as much as I can, although my degree sometimes takes the fun out of it. I love music, can get down with all sorts but really enjoy house/jungle for a boogie.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Moving to Australia at 18 with no connections - was great to experience moving to a new country and starting from scratch!
Teach, Learn, Share
Really enjoy hearing other’s stories and experiences. History, politics, language are all things that excite me, as well as festivals, music, travelling.
I speak English, and I've been in a love hate relationship with French for too long now, I've studied it on the side at university for the past two years but hoping to spend my time in France improving my language skills.
