PHILOSOPHY

I think from an epistemological standpoint, there's a lot of crap that gets spread around as "knowledge", but in reality are dogmatic cultural doctrines, and very little "real knowledge" is supported by the majority of the population. A question to ask yourself to understand the point I'm driving at is, "How do you know atoms exist, why and when would you be justified in believing atoms exist?"

I am a moral realist, I think morality is a real thing that isn't dependent on culturally constructed values, but is a consequence given the way reality has been built.

There's a lot more, but that's a good starting point for discussion if anybody is interested, oh and just as a general matter, by agreeing to have me in your home, we are both hereby legally bound to refrain from any sort of telepathic/ paranormal/ alien/ supernatural/ scientific/ magical/ inter-dimensional/ computer-simulation/ etc. activity that has to do with the other party or to communicate with others who have these abilities in order to gather any information indirectly without explicit written contractual consent from the other party and to formally inform the other party both verbally and through email if/when this activity has been violated and what the information is and to convey that information in a straight forward/unambiguous way with the one exception that if either of us happens to invent a time machine, that we are to meet ourselves one minute after the point in time I enter the dwelling and explain which stocks to buy (and when to sell) for the next 60 months.

I've been vegan for about 3 years, made the switch in about a week from complete omnivore to vegan after hearing ,for the first time, the philsophical argument for why animals matter morally, huge into philosophy and am currently learning Javascript.

Pandora is my friend, I really don't like music with vocals in it and just about any kind of tune cleverly put together is good for me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first time I heard Alan Hovhaness Symphony number 22 and some of the videos that show what animal agriculture is really like... Awestruck to me has this feeling of overwhelming emotional impact so it can be beautiful and heart breaking.
