I am currently a student at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. I studied abroad in Seville, Spain my second year and have since fallen in love with travelling and discovering new places and developing an appreciation for cultures different than my own. While I lived in Spain, I traveled to 10 different countries across Europe and Northern Africa. My favorite part about travel is the relationships that have been cultivated from each unique experience. I love the friends I have made across the world and appreciate the differences of perspective each of them bring.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am actually studying abroad this upcoming summer and am looking for the most cost-effective way to travel throughout Europe. I also plan on traveling for several years after I finish college and figured now was a good time to start using Couchsurfing. I also place a heavy emphasis on relationships in my personal life. My favorite part of travel is the people I meet and the unique relationships that are formed between people who had very slim odds of crossing paths. I know that by using couchsurfing I will be able to create so many more of those special friendships.

Music - Alternative (specifically Lorde and Rainbow Kitten Surprise), Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar, Beyonce, The Hamilton Soundtrack. I also love listening to covers from talent shows like The Voice or The X Factor.

Movies - Seven Pounds, Don't Breathe, Wonder, Thoroughbreds, Love Simon, Legally Blonde, Bridesmaids, Pitch Perfect. I love horror movies and comedies.

Books - The Hopefuls, anything by C.S. Lewis, Eat Pray Love, the Percy Jackson series. I love historical memoirs (for example the Night Trilogy written by Holocaust Survivor Elie Wiesel). I really love books that teach me history through the perspective of someone who experienced it.
