I find filling out about me sections to be hard work. I never know what to say.

Names Jacob. Grew up in a poor town in Colorado. It taught me to enjoy the little things in life. Like a quiet night around a fire and a few beers with quality people. My family and friends also taught me to have a fairly optimistic view on life and the world.

Two years ago I made the choice to focus on travel. Dropped out of College. Started working every job that would hire me to save up money and make my goals and dreams a reality. Come hell or high water I will do what I set out to do.

Back home when I'm not working I'm usually located in from of my computer playing video games and listening to random podcasts. I am a nerd at heart. Though while I'm here I would like to substitute that with hiking and rock climbing. It's high time I get myself in shape. I'm not getting any younger.

Thus far my travels have only taken my to Thailand, Australia and here. The goal is to fill my passport. Much like everyone I meet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've never done it before. And I'm not one to rob myself of an experience.

We are not given enough time in this world to not try anything and everything at least once. So why not?
