About Me

I'm 21 and I've always lived in California. I try to balance school, biking, the outdoors, and travel.

There's a phrase along the lines of, "The more you know, the more you realize you don't know," and I feel as though something similar applies to travel. I guess a reworked phrase might be: "The more you travel, the more you realize there is to see."

I'm always trying to meet people from different places. When I meet someone at home with experience abroad, they immediately become fascinating to me. Additionally, when I'm at home, I'm looking for the next place to visit!

Always looking for new places and friends!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really like traveling by myself because it offers me so much flexibility; however, such travels can be very lonely. Thus, I love meeting people along the way. Each person is unique and offers insights to other parts of the world. Each person I've met while traveling has had a significant impact on my experience in a very positive way. I hope to use Couchsurfing to facilitate meeting people to better experience the world.

Interests

My three favorite things are:
1. Bikes (if it has two wheels, it's probably amazing)
2. Food/cooking. Both making it and eating it!
3. Adventures (at home or internationally)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've tobogganed down from the Great Wall of China.

Teach, Learn, Share

Travel the world twice: the first time to make friends, the second time to visit them.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I really enjoy talking and hearing about the lives of people I don't know, especially when they're so different from my own. I'm also happy to share what my life is like.

As I mentioned elsewhere in my profile, I love cooking, so I'd love to try making new dishes or trying to share something of my own with you.
