Hello! I am new to Couchsurfing, but very excited to give it a try for my upcoming trip! I am a recent college graduate who is taking a year off before starting a PhD program in the United States. I spent the last few months learning German at a language school in Freiburg and have grown to love the German culture. I am excited to travel while I am here and begin hosting people wherever I move to next!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am now traveling around Europe for a few weeks, hoping to meet new people, learn a new culture, and--most especially--practice mein Deutsch!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in New Orleans for four years and got to experience four different Mardi Gras. Each year it is more incredible than the last.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Very low maintenance, easy-to-please guest who can hold a conversation with anyone and is eager to practice my German!
