About Me

I like working hard. I cant stand sitting around doing nothing, even if it means just going for a run or using clay. As long as I'm active/busy I'm pretty much set. I can be a bit quiet around new people, but I make quick friends and am always game for a good spirited laugh.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I get bored easily and like going to new places and meeting new people. I think this will also help me build interpersonal skills and gain a wide net of international friendships. Hopefully I can get a bit of worldly perspective.

I want to eventually move to another country permanently so I can return the generosity of those kind hearts on this site.

Interests

A good book can burn up a large bit of my time. Noire for the win!!

I like building things with my hands, even though I may be bad at it.

I also really like learning new things, especially new languages. I feel like this is second nature to meeting new people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I live for Heavy types of Rock music, but I can definitely respect the musical interests of others.

I love to "Hate watch" really low budget movies. Anything by Troma or The Asylum is B movie gold.

I really enjoy gritty Noire detective novels or dark and scary Science Fiction books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've played Dark Souls without breaking anything.

I've eaten a Hot Pocket without letting it cool off first. (I know, I'm a beast)

I've watched Field of Dreams and only cried AFTER the credits.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can't say that I'm a specialist in a specific field of knowledge, but I am pretty good at interpersonal communications, so I guess I could probably help teach someone about that.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to make people laugh and feel good. I can share my life perspective with others and what little knowledge I have. I can probably help with projects and things, because I'd hate to just bum around. I can also help make meals, clean up, and help with day to day chores to help carry my weight.

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
