Unlike anyone else on CS 😉, I was struck by wanderlust and it has never let go. I feel lucky to have done a decent amount of traveling but am always yearning for more. I've also gotten into travel hacking to cover flight costs as much as possible.

I'm honest, kind, laid-back, hopefully funny, and a lifelong learner. I'm both responsible and spontaneous. An image of near perfection is sitting on a stool outside of a food stall slurping spicy noodles and having great conversation. I lean introvert but am always looking for connection with others on an authentic level and am up for trying new things.

I love being in nature. It's deeply restorative. I think it's been infused into me growing up on Maui and now living in Colorado. I often find the best humanity off the beaten path deep in nature.

My career fighting for educational equity is my social justice calling and is a consistent reminder of my privilege.
