About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Skiing in winter and discovering new things in Christchurch!

ABOUT ME

Curious, listener, open minded, outgoing, fun.

Happy to experience new things.

Was born in Germany but immigrated to New Zealand at a young age, therefore am bilingual.

I started studying engineering at the start of 2012 but wasn't sure if it is the right path for me. Therefor I am now at the other end of the world to gain work experience, travel and try to work out what I want to do with my life.

PHILOSOPHY

Make the most of every moment

Music, Movies, and Books

I generally like the older type of music.
Dire Straits is my all time favorite.
I like the older style of rock; Pink Floyd, Jimmy Hendrix, Dire Straits, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Santana, etc but also enjoy other styles of music.

I enjoy watching documentaries as i seem to pick up more information visually.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Have biked to Everest base camp and across the Andes mountain range in south America.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn about different cultures and countries, would like to learn Spanish and French.

On a random note also would like to learn something about glassblowing, tried it once with a blowtorch, a wine bottle and a bike pump and I failed miserably.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a great house with great flatmates! We welcome our house to guests and love the company.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Australia, Canada, Chile, China, Denmark, Fiji, Germany, Italy, Namibia, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tanzania, Tonga, United States, Viet Nam
