North by Northwest. Blue Valentine. Lost in Translation; drinking Guinness or port or green tea; reading Rousseau; trying socially to be anything but masculine; dressing like Springsteen and thereby appearing masculine; listening to Springsteen and thereby temporarily escaping everything.
