About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be part of a sustainable, harmonious, interdependent, happy and peaceful global community.

ABOUT ME

I'm a pretty calm guy. I meditate each morning, practice a bit of Yoga (need to do more), like to read, write, hike through the woods and up and over mountains, swim in the seas and oceans. I also like to cook (and eat!) vegetarian meals. I also enjoy fasting and playing a bit of scrabble (I'm OK, not very fast) and building LEGO with my son. I like to travel and I certainly like to talk and listen (to myself, but also to others.) For five or six summers I worked as a volunteer with my family at Butterfly Valley, an eco-resort and organic farm in SW Turkey. I've also done a fair bit of teaching, most recently as a professor of communications at McDaniel College Budapest.

Currently, I live with my wife and son in Fethiye, in the Patlangic neighborhood in the Eastern part of the city.

PHILOSOPHY

To love, share, forgive, enjoy life in a responsible harmonious, educational, beneficial way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, my family and I enjoyed the company of a couchsurfer system administrator and his friend at our place in Fethiye, Turkey. They were such groovy folks, that I signed up straight away.
