ABOUT ME

INFJ; 1w2; Cancer II w/Libra moon and Capricorn Ascendant (for those who give credence to such things)

I enjoy many things in life. Among them, good company with a stranger over tea, books, languages and linguistics, spiritualities, traveling, intelligent conversation, personal conversation, meditation, science, a nice hot bath, cuddling, a good meal, silence, smiling, good senses of humor, writing, viewing art, jamming, and playing guitar for someone.

But really i just love to experience life in all its beauty and wonder, and to share those experiences of life with those around me. I'm still finding my way through the complexities of human existence, but i'm happy and i like to be happy with other people wherever/however i can!

PHILOSOPHY

I self-identify as Buddhist but i'm also Omnist, meaning that i believe in the validity of all belief systems. Beyond this, i believe that philosophy should always be tied to a purpose in life, to be practical. I believe that travel is one of the most amazing tools for growth, and i believe that Bubble Tea is the closest thing to perfection humanity has created thusfar (next to hammocks and hot tubs, of course).

I usually don't have a couch available, because i don't usually have a place of my own, but i love to meet couchsurfers and learn what i can from them! I especially like language exchanges for practice.

Music, Movies, and Books

In a word: i love pretty much everything and if you think something's awesome, i will think it's awesome too by virtue of your thinking it's awesome. I figure that if something can be loved by someone, i can love it too.

I read mostly non-fiction. I love philosophy, psychology, sociology, spirituality, self-help, religious texts, books on theoretical physics, linguistics, and general classics of world literature. I'm also a lover of poetry; particularly spiritual and esoteric poetry.

I love all musics. I play a lot of instrumental solo acoustic stuff, but i love blues, jazz, prog metal, death metal, symphonic metal, bluegrass, classical, etc. etc. etc.

i love movies. predominantly intelligent, well-written, mind-fuck-type stuff.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been to Mecca.
But I've also seen a friend of mine give birth, and i'd say that was one of the most amazing things i've seen.

Teach, Learn, Share

Any languages I'm open to teach or learn.
I would love to share cultural knowledge or philosophies. Much of my life revolves around spirituality and philosophy and better understanding everything about everything, so i will try to teach anything i can to anyone i can, and i'm always open to learn myself.
