I was born in Chicago and moved out to Palo Alto at a young age when my father got a teaching job at Stanford University.

I had an atypical high school life that consisted of flying airplanes out of Palo Alto airport, cooking Indian food, and riding along with the local police department as an Explorer/Cadet. As I went to college in Santa Cruz I was on my way to becoming a police officer until I had a much needed awakening my sophomore year. I dropped out of school to pursue music and mind expansion and then moved to San Francisco.

I still play music but my new focus is on a project called 'Concrn' that I started last year with my best friend. Our mission is to create a network of compassionate community responders to replace law enforcement response for non-violent issues such as drug/alcohol abuse, mental health, and homelessness.
