Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

last summer. biking home, on my way I see a white mammal cross the empty road. biking towards it, darts away and I go after it into a field of tall grass. Thunder and the rain starts, there's been lighting for a while, but it's one of those warm nights. the grass is getting too tall to bike in, I dismount and continue chasing the creature. it stops every 20 feet, waiting for me to catch up, grinning at me with pointed ears and then dashing when I get closer. silhouettes of bats in the sky when the lighting comes, them just dancing along the tree line. further along my evader disappears into a bush. attempts to follow it any further were met by muddy shoes. I biked home bewildered.
