New to couchsurfing! I hope to do some surfing and hosting once I am able.

Music: I always love seeing live music of basically any genre. I like to play guitar a little bit and sing a little bit. I get pretty pumped when I find a new album or artist that I really like. I love talking with other people who love music and hearing about what artists they are into.

Adventures: I love spending time outdoors. Hiking through the woods or kayaking to some island or just walking around a new city is always fun for me.

Philosophy: Anything relating to big questions like: Is there a God? Is morality objective or subjective? Why do we exist? What happens when we die? I love getting into discussions about this sort of stuff.

Sports: soccer, football, basketball, running, soccer tennis, longboarding...basically I enjoy getting exercise.

Motorcycles: I am fairly new to riding but it has become a recent interest of mine. I know very little about engines and mechanical stuff so if you are into that sort of thing please teach me!

Just learning new things in general: If you have some unique skill or hobby, share it with me!

Music I've been listening to lately: Dawes, The Avett Brothers, The National, The Mighty Oaks, Jon Foreman, Common Market, The Joy Formidable, Dr. Dog, Kendrick Lamar.

Books: I don't always read books. But when I do, I prefer reading about philosophy or religion or something in that realm.

Movies: Good Will Hunting, The Human Experience, Shawshank Redemption, The Lord of the Rings. It's a Wonderful Life. The Heart is a Drum Machine.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I rode my 1986 Honda Magna VF700 from Bellingham, WA to Miami, FL. The trip ended up being over 5,000 miles and took 17 days. My cousin came with and we spent most nights sleeping in truck stops or rest stops along the freeway. The entire trip was an amazing experience but the one moment that probably was most memorable was when I saw the Grand Canyon for the first time.
