ABOUT ME
Ill keep it short and sweet:
I'm easy-going, independent and curious. I love going new places, but meeting new people is always more interesting.
PHILOSOPHY
Still looking.
Interests
travel-anywhere (of course), best if its unexpected or spontaneous. Also driving, even if you are not driving anywhere specific. There is something so relaxing and free about an open road and no plans.
Scuba Diving. Diving the GBR was one of the most amazing things I have ever done.
I love good conversations. The future, the past, human nature... I love hearing how other people view the world
Exotic cuisine is always good, nothing beats finding some hole in the wall cafe or sitting down to a home-cooked meal that you have never tried before.
I'm a complete bookworm -- > http://www.goodreads.com/user/show/7118909-jacob-ervin
I hesitate to call myself a transhumanist, but I love the idea of extending our senses and physically augmenting ourselves.
I'll admit it, I have a weakness for card games. Poker, Euchre, K and A, Rummy... The list goes on and on. Bonus points if the game has something riding on it :)
I also love rock climbing, skiing, Swimming and other more mundane activities.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Getting dropped off by helicopter in the middle of a New Zealand mountain range to assist with a geological survey was a blast. We ended up getting trapped for several additional days due to bad weather, good excuse to to sit in tents and play cards :)
