About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Make it a better place

ABOUT ME

I live as I learn as much as I can. I always try to do what I enjoy and live life to the fullest. I love travel and that is what I do most of the time. I like skiing and scuba diving, that is why I became an instructor teaching these amazing sports. I have a big interest for photography and retouch and have been freelancing.

My life is not a typical 9 to 5 life. I always have new ideas and project coming. I have been studying a lot of different courses at university (normally on distance at the same time as I travel).

I am not a big alcohol consumer, even if I am backpacker. I am more of a morning person than a night person and I enjoy living a healthy life. I travel because I want to experience the country I am in at the moment. This might sound obvious but most backpackers don't care about the country they are in. I want to meet the locals, eat their food (as long as it is vegan) and experience the culture. I try to stay away from tourist spots as much as possible. I am not interested in scrambled eggs and toast for breakfast and french fries for dinner.

A major part of my travel is food, local specialities and fruits. I've been travelling a lot in Asia and the first thing in every country is to find a local wet market and stroll around, buy some local foods and new fruits. I am a vegetarian and I eat a lot of fruit.

I have a small charity organisation together with my girlfriend (fridaoijerholm). You can have a look at our page to see the projects we have been involved in. www.facebook.com/ehsanhjalposshjalpa

I like most kind of sports and activities, nothing with cars and motors. Scuba diving, kite surfing, skiing, frisbee ultimate, wave surfing, running, yoga, hiking and so on.

I enjoy hanging out with friends, family, people and talk about everything. Share experiences, knowledge and stories.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed with over 50 hosts in 11 countries. I move around working and travelling almost all the time so I can't host at the moment but the day I settle down I will start giving back to the community.

Interests

Retouch, environment, photography, diving - both sky and scuba, many different kinds of adventure sports, food and cooking, cultures, travel

At the bottom of my interest list is cars and motors (as long as it's not a mini cooper or electric cars)

Music, Movies & Books

Music is best live.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

When my girlfriend Frida and I started our charity organisation and could complete out first project. I realised the possibilities of helping and how much you can do with a very small budget. It is possible to change and make it better. I have seen it and I have done it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to discuss things, see the way other people look at problems.
