About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Meet as many great people as I can --for life is short!
ABOUT ME
I'm a music loving Speech-Language Pathologist I work with adults and children with various communication disorders. Some colleagues and I have recently started our own non-profit organization to help brain-injury survivors. I'm also a very active volunteer at local charities. I'm an easy-going guy and love meeting new people/making new friends.
I've been living on my own since I was 16....I learned at a young age how to live independently and how to appreciate good company.
I want to be a traveler and and not a tourist.
I have decided I will use all of my availability to travel, host, and LEARN about the world as much as possible.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE music as much as a person could! I play the guitar and doodle on the piano.
I feel that I should've also been a finance major, but my passion to help others over-ruled and I became a Speech-Language Pathologist.
I strive to learn something new each and everyday.
PHILOSOPHY
1) Be impeccable with your word, 2) Don't take anything personally, 3) Don't make assumptions, and 4) Always do your best.
-We're only strangers until we meet and become friends.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I backpacked West Europe Summer 2011 --meeting some of the most wonderful people ever!!!
I want to learn about each and every culture as possible and share my own as well.
I've opened my residence for many traveling musicians/bands over the years, but as of recent, my schedule has gotten in the way of that availability. I def try to host as much as possible.
Interests
Music, Art, Education, and Philanthropy.
I live for music! I love finding new "treasures" of talent! Anything from jazz, rock, techno, blues, and everything beyond. Everything from Miles Davis to Ravi Shankar and everything in between. I love improv jam sessions and being apart of the magic in progress.
I feel as though I am an open book for interests. I'm interested in people and lifestyles. I want to experience new things, try new things, meet new people and create a living melting pot of culture.

Music, Movies, and Books
Authors: Chuck Palahniuk, Philip K. Dick, Tolkien, Don Miguel Ruiz, and a lot of textbooks!!
Directors & writers: Guillermo Del Torro, Darren Aronofsky, Stanley Kubrick, Quentin Tarantino, Andy Kaufman, Alejandro Amenabar, Wachowski Bros, and, Charlie Kaufman/Michel Gondry/Pierre Bismuth.
Music: I love to listen to music that other people listen to -I have found some of my favorite artist this way. There would be NO END to this list!!! Seriously! No, I'm really serious! hahaha.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of my favorite adventures was a last minute trip some friends and I took to the Grand Canyon. We left on a Friday, got there in 18hrs, slept a few hours, hiked to the bottom, passed out from exhaustion, woke up at 8am, hiked 9 miles back out, and drove 18hrs back home. It was a super draining trip, but looking back, it was amazing!!!!
Teach, Learn, Share
This "Learn. Teach. Share." philosophy is a great mind set. I feel like a sponge when it comes to learning about new things! I'm sure I have some experiences and knowledge to share as well. I was forced to grow up at a young age and have been at several extremities over the course of that journey.
I love to cook, but never follow a recipie. I'd love to learn how to cook a "local" dish. I play guitar and teach lessons...maybe I can teach you a few chord progressions.
