Cover Letter
Hello! My name is Jacopo and I’m 27 year old. Speaking a little bit about myself, the first thing that you probably would like to know is where I come from. I was born in Empoli, a small town near Florence, just few miles from Chianti countryside. I spent the greatest part of my life in Tuscany, between Empoli, Florence and Siena, where I worked for 6 months. After the University I moved to Genoa and spent 2 years there, until I joined Rome in January 2017.
If I had to describe myself in a word, I would use empathy. That’s because I strongly believe in the importance of human relations. Respect, honesty and frankness are milestones to me. In my job, my strength is method. I learned the importance to be consistent and never give up, even if things turn out to be awful, just go on, the sun will shine again, like it always did.
I am sports and I used to play semi-professionally football until I moved to Genoa almost 3 years ago. I like skiing and I have been discovering a strong passion for trekking for a couple of years, since I travelled to western USA where I visited its amazing natural parks. I really, really, love travelling. If I had free money, I would invest 90% of my capital in travelling. I think that it is the best way to learn things in life. No matters where, just travel, possibly close to wild nature. Together with travelling I definitely like the contact with different cultures and languages. I speak English and a little bit of German. I studied German for 5 year during high school, where I also had 2 cultural exchanges with German guys (Dresden and Berlin in particular).
