CURRENT MISSION: HATING THE NEW COUCHSURFING WEBSITE, NOT USING IT ANYMORE AND FINDING AN ALTERNATIVE
My name is Jacopo, I’m a former bass player, and together with some friends we have developed LiveTrigger.com, a project / network which could be similar to Couchsurfing… but for live music insiders. LiveTrigger helps connecting people who organize concerts (bands, bookers, venues, musicians, etc)
We are all musicians (from Milan, Italy) and one day we thought: how can I go and play live in Berlin? It would be great to have a website where I can browse bands, venues etc. in Berlin like if it was google maps!
One of us is also organizing concerts in Milan and he receives millions of emails from whoever. You just cannot read millions of emails… so you try to cope with that by reading some of them and relying on personal connections. Now we thought: wouldn’t it be great to be able to sort & filter all those emails & bands by genre, feedback from other users, distance, fee, etc?
This is what LiveTrigger is all about.
The main features are:
1) FIND LIVE MUSIC INSIDERS QUICKLY AND ALL OVER THE WORLD, through a map where you will be able to find bands, venues, musicians wherever they are
2) SAVE TIME WHEN YOU RECEIVE THOUSANDS OF EMAILS, through a cool mail system that enables filtering/sorting your messages based on tons of criteria and save your time when you receive thousands of emails
3) AVOID ASSHOLES, via the feedback system which is pretty similar to the one on CS
We have worked on this for about a year during our free time, we are not asking for any money or anything, just 5 mins of your time to try it out, it’s totally free and hopefully you will find it useful as many others already did … in the first 2 days we had more than 300 new users from 15+ countries!
So If you believe LiveTrigger.com can work as I believe it, help us: sign up, use it, give us feedback and share further!!
So sign up, it’s free => www.livetrigger.com !!
heeeeeei i dont know that much about me actually, maybe read some references would help. as far as i remember people says that I've been hit by a lightning bolt (in Italian=> fulminato), very active and proactive, kind, independent, respectful of others/environment, louzy in flirting with girls, of course something else i cannot remember.
One important thing: sometimes i dont get jokes. If i stare at u after a joke, it's normal. Don't think I haven't found it funny. I have a louzy sense of humor.
work hard... play harder!
and remember also: you'll never gonna stop the rain by complaining (cit.)
