ABOUT ME

I am 27 and a PhD student (Clinical toxicology). I moved to Kandy, Sri Lanka last year to work in a hospital here, and to travel the country. I spent 3 months in South America over the 08/09 new year with my boyfriend Alex who´s Swedish. I traveled because it offers experience that uni cant offer and i needed a new perspective. Well i certainly found that..the continent is incredible and the depth of culture and people here make me proud to be human and appreciate everything in my very fortunate life.
I am happy and easygoing and advenutous and pretty spontaneous and generally up for anything. I love live music, poeple and being surprised. The only things I truly hate are bananas, spiders and people that lie. I hope to get to know people better through this site :-)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I heard about this site from an amazing girl i met in Brazil in 2009. Since then I have surfed, hosted and holidayed with some really great people in some pretty amazing places, mostly in Sri Lanka which is where I've been living the last 3 years.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch surfing has been such a positive experience so far..I have surfed, hosted and met many people who I now count among my closest friends..

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

The amazon in Bolivia, trekking 90kn though the Peruvian jungle, and moving to Sri Lanka.

The capacity of people to thrive anywhere and everywhere amazes me and I love that no matter where I've been whenever I smile, people always smile back :-)

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I crave knowledge and need to learn things every day or I get bored. I want to learn to speak Spanish properly, I'm working on the Swedish. I know a little bit about most things which has been useful so far for adding to conversations around the world and I am only really an expert at making camp fires..!
