Hi! My name is Jacqueline Maria Delaó- but please call me Jackie. I am a 24 year old New York Native who enjoys reading, exercising, laughing with friends until 3 in the morning and dogs. I may sound generic but I promise I have a lot of great stories and I love listening to others' stories as well!

I definitely was an extroverted overachiever in high school and college but I also love and appreciate some alone time to recharge at the end of the day, plus I sleep like a rock.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Summer 2018 Drove from coast to coast and it was AMAZING. I met amazing people using CS. Now I am working in Munich Germany and want to continue building my international friendships.

I want to visit all 7 continents before I’m 30 so 6 years to see Africa, Asia, Australia and Antarctica!

My favorite music- that is so hard!! So much to listen to but my heart will always be in musical theatre- I also love latin music and it's influences.

My favorite movies are Forrest Gump and What Dreams May Come- I am a sucker for creative storytelling.

My favorite book is Water for Elephants- an amazing english teacher in high school introduced me to it, makes me very happy. Reread it a few times a year. (the movie didn't do it justice)

My parents are from Paraguay- this forgotten country the size of California lives in the heart of South America and has a rich beautiful and almost barbaric culture.

My family is from the Guarani Tribe, actual South Native Americans and I would love to teach you about my people and maybe even some of the language (it is not latin derived so it sounds silly to the American ear- but I think it's beautiful)
