ABOUT ME

Hardworking honest couple with teenagers who have done us proud. Taking time out for ourselves and fulfilling our passion for travel! We love exploring new places and making new memories together. We are young at heart, don't take life too seriously and live our lives to the fullest. We are not crazy fitness fanatics but love the beach, walking the dogs, eating good food and indulging our creative spirits. We both have a belief in being good to others and treating others as you would want to be treated yourself. We are kind and generous and fun and silly and we love a good laugh!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

How I participate?? I'm the caregiver I guess, I do the housework and work in an industry I love. I'm happy, easy going and creative. My husband is the kooky one who plays guitar, sings, rides his Royal Enfield and works in the local pub. Generally we just enjoy life by the sea :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

New to couch surfing we would like to start off hosting travellers who need a place to land for a while during their Aussie adventure. We are also planning our own trip in March and hope to surf around Europe for six weeks!

Music, Movies, and Books

We both love a variety of movies, books and music. We like watching interesting documentaries, are interested in what goes on in the world and how others live. We both read lots but my husband probably reads more than I do and he loves all genres of music. Some favourites are Van Morrison, John Mayer, Jonny Cash, Neil Young, Otis Redding and so many more! Diverse and interesting!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Backpacked around part of the world on my own when I was in my twenties, met amazing people, saw amazing sights and made lifetime memories.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have taught myself to paint but want to know so much more and develop my limited skills. I love creating unique craft pieces and am always looking for new ideas and inspiration.
My husband is a closet muso - he plays guitar and sings but mostly when no one is around! He is also creative and makes gorgeous wooden boxes, cigar box guitars and loves tinkering in his workshop on his Main love - his Royal Enfield!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Our authentic caring nature. Being respectful, clean and mindful of others. Being extremely thankful of the gift of someone sharing their home with us. Happy to help out around the house if needed!
