I studied international relations with a focus on latin american human rights. If you are into that sort of thing, we can have great have some great discussion. When I travel, I would much rather immerse myself in the local culture than hibernate in a sterile resort somewhere. I am not looking for the white, crisp, hotel experience and I don't mind "roughing" it a bit. In fact, I welcome those experiences.
