Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I used to really love the idea of hotels when travelling, but they're very impersonal. I want to see and experience new places from the perspective of a local.
Tell me where to get the best pizza or cheapest beer in town, let me know some nice parks to chill and read a book or where I can go for a walk and soak in some cool views. Places off the beaten track.
I'm looking to meet people and make friends as well as have a place to lay my head at night.

Interests

I love being outdoors, walking in forests and through peaks and mountains.
My absolute dream in life is to move to a little cottage or cabin in the Fjords of Norway and live more sustainably.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
Nine Inch Nails are my all time favourite band, I've seen Every Time I Die an unhealthy amount of times (cantstopwontstop) and I genuinely believe that Power Ballads are the key to happiness.
That being said, my music taste is super varied from Metal to Motown and (thanks to Nashville) a bit of Country.

Movies:
Studio Ghibli and Disney films are my favourites.
I do love a good Indie film and films that make you really feel something, whether that be joy, sorrow or fear.

Books:
Stephen King.
I don't read enough, thats something I need to rectify.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I volunteered for at Cyprus Pride House, an animal rescue centre in Cyprus. My two cats are from this rescue centre.
