Most of my frieds would agree I am a free spirit as well as an adventurous person. I like meeting new people and trying new things, but I also enjoy doing my own thing whether its with a group of people or by myself. I don't always plan ahead. Sometimes just going with the flow or acts of randomness create the best memories. I am a passionate, kind-hearted, easy going, independent, random, genuine, kind of gal.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am relatively new to couchsurfing, but so far my experiences have been positive

Interests

Sometimes I am lazy and prefer to spend my day relaxing; listening to music, watching a movie, reading a good book, soaking in the sun, gazing at the clouds, stars, city lights or just plain old people watching.
Sometimes I am full of energy and want to go for a walk,hike,run or swim.
Sometimes I am inspired and spend hours writing, drawing, painting, creating until my mind and body go numb
Sometimes I am in the mood for a good night out so I go dancing, to concerts, bars, and parties.
Sometimes I am in the mood for a good night in with friends, just hanging out, playing board games, having a few drinks and good laughs.
Sometimes I am just hungry so anything with food always sounds like a good idea to me; I like to cook, grill out, dine in or dine out
So yeah, basically whatever feels good in the moment, I am up for it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Even though I have not been to many places, I love traveling. One of my favorite memories was when I got live in Belize for three months as a volunteer. I taught art workshops at a couple of schools, went on food runs for the local school children, and help plan activities for an HIV/AIDS awareness youth group. I got to snorkel for the first time, explore mayan ruins, and play frisbee golf in a foreign country. I even got to spend a weekend in Guatemala where I hiked up an active volcanoe and roasted marshmellows on molten lava! But the best memories I have are of the locals and other volunteers I made friends with during my stay. It was unbelizeable!

Teach, Learn, Share

Stepping outside of the box and taking risks have lead to the most valuable and most rewarding experiences of my life. Taking the time to listen to others stories as well as sharing your own experiences have molded me to become the person I am today and I plan to continue growing and inspire others to do the same.
