ABOUT ME

Well I'm 33, have spent a wonderful year in Edinburgh Scotland, and am now on my home run, travelling as much of Europe as possible before returning home to sunny Australia. Interested in soaking up the cultures, and seeing amazing scenery. I'm not much of a party animal (apart from the odd night) but I do love chilling out with a bottle of wine. I am easy going and friendly.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just had my first couch surfing experience a couple of weeks ago and couldn't have asked for a better one. I am currently backpacking Europe, and hope to couch surf a few times as a way to meet people from the country i am visiting, and learn and see things that i wouldn't ordinarily. As I'm currently travelling i don't have a couch to offer, but i will when i get home and sorted in 4 months time. So stay tuned....

Interests

I am generally interested in festivals, music, movies, beautiful and amazing scenery, camping, walks, long drives through the country, different cultures, anything creative, and meeting lovely people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies- anything with a bit of heart or thought, a bit of drama or anything that reflects real life situations. Foreign films that offer new insights into different cultures, or anything with a quirky sense of humour. Favourites include the popular shaw shank redemption, and amelie.

Books- Not a huge reader i'm afraid. I always fall asleep! ;). But reading loads of travel books the moment (in between naps that is).

Music- anything but heavy metal, electronic or rap. Enjoy chilled out music, soft rock, a bit of blues, and music of other cultures too. Favourite music at the mo is Amy Winehouse, Nora Jones and Traditional Scottish music (prob has something to do with my last year in edinburgh!).

Well i can help with anything you might want to know about Australia- culture, lifestyle, places. I have travelled up the east coast, Tasmania, and the centre.
