Hi there!

My husband, Alex, and I have quit our jobs, sold all our belongings and hope to travel the world indefinitely, working, volunteering and couchsurfing along the way. We spent the last two years travelling around North America, are currently doing a quick roadtrip through parts of Europe and then heading to Australia.

Alex studied psychology and culinary arts. He worked as a chef back home.

We love nothing more than unexpected adventures, meeting new people, beautiful views and delicious food.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm a firm believer that the best way to explore a place is by asking the locals and that being on a tight budget forces you to learn and explore more than you normally would.

So far along our travels, we've had the most amazing adventures while staying with friends or hosts who know the area.

Interests

Food. Photography. Cats. Daydreaming. Environmental protection and education. Sitting in trees. Animals in general, Particularly horses and elephants. Eating. Reading and writing. Hiking. Yoga. And putting food in my stomach.

Alex likes to cook (do you see why I married him?). He enjoys hiking, biking, slacklining or any physical activity that allows him to spend the excessive amounts of energy he has. He loves football but not in a fanatical way, and socializing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- We got engaged on the summit of Mt Kilimanjaro
- Sang to Pele in the middle of the night while enjoying champagne by the flowing lava in Hawaii
