Hey!! Im Jade :) I find languages fascinating, although I have along way to go to being fluent in anything - I am getting there slowly! .. My ukelele brings me joy but probably no one else as I'm not great at it yet aha!

I love to travel, it broadens your mind. Meeting new people, experiencing things you might not have even thought of, trying different cuisines... variety is the spice of life and you only get one shot so say yes!

I think it's such a wonderful way to travel and meet new people - the opportunity to hang out with locals rather than just other tourists or backpackers and live how they live even if just for a night.

My camera is always attached to me - I love getting shots of the beautiful places I go and things I see. Snaps of people unawares are my kind of 'selfie' 🙃

Running is time spent with my brain switched off, just feeling your surroundings and body is so satisfying and of course it keeps those dreaded muffin tops at bay!

I will listen to anything, although my 'go-to' genres are rock, ska, reggae.. anything you might call 'alternative' I guess.
Movie choices range from 'train spotting', 'pulp fiction', 'human traffic' to absolutely anything animated - big kid at heart!
I'm such a bookworm - thankfully kindle was invented so there's no need to lug a load of heavy books around anymore. Mine has far too many on for me to work through in this life but I'm trying!

It was always my dream to backpack round Australia. So when I left college I slogged my guts out in a job I hated to save enough to do it. It was the most incredibly rewarding experience of my life to date. It was also the first time I'd ever left home on my own and I wouldn't change a thing. I had an amazing time and it definitely started my travel addiction 🙃
