Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Most importantly, I have been travelling for 6 months now and I never would have guessed how much I would have loved it. I have been meeting people daily and making friends for life and I really don’t want that to stop. I value myself as an outgoing but down to earth kind of girl, I want to listen to everyone’s stories and learn from their experiences! It’s just in my nature to talk and listen and it’s the thing that makes me the most happy :)

Im also here for a place to stay in Melbourne where I can start to look for places to work. I need to get lots of things sorted before I secure a job so I may have a bit of admin work to do, and I’m hoping to look around the city and hand my cv into places.

Absolutely love Harry Potter books and films. Other films I love are most marvel films (love superhero moviessss) The Revenant, Gone Girl, Murder on The Orient Express, Titanic (classic), Disney films, Wreck it Ralph, The Incredibles, Inside Out, Big Hero, Monsters Inc...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I completed the Ha Giang loop on a motorbike for one whole week in Vietnam. I bought my own bike and did it! Staying in small rural villages with locals who spoke barely any English was an experience I won’t ever forget.

Teach, Learn, Share

May do teaching at some point as I have done plenty of work with teenagers in the U.K. from summer camps to doing work in schools. I have considered teaching in Vietnam and I may even do this after my year in Aus. But moving forward, I would love to hear from teachers or anyone having had experience with teenagers, how best they taught and any advice they have on how I can be a good teacher!

I’m also a qualified lifeguard so I have had a part time job as a pool lifeguard. I can actually share life saving tips for anyone interested. No joke lol.

I’m a very sociable person and I would like to get to know everyone, just get to learn their story and things about them. My previous job involves going into schools/colleges and presenting and doing careers fairs etc with teenagers. The nature of my role naturally means I am a very chatty person :)
