Hi! I'm Jade, a Brazilian currently living in Italy, where I study Management Engineering in Palermo. I'm an open-minded, curious, and easy-going person who loves to connect with people from different backgrounds and cultures. I'm currently on my summer break and looking for meaningful connections and to experience Italian culture.

I’ve always been passionate about cultural exchange and community life. In Brazil, I was actively involved in the Scout Movement, which helped shape my sense of responsibility, teamwork, and adventure. I lived in the United States for 2.5 years, as an Au pair, caring for children and becoming part of a lovely local family.

Traveling is one of my biggest passions not just for the places, but for the people and stories I encounter. I truly enjoy being part of a group, helping out, learning new things, and sharing experiences. I’m happy when I feel useful and connected, whether it’s helping, cooking together, practicing languages or just enjoying good company.

I'm hoping to experience daily life in a new setting, support my hosts, and dive deeper into Italian language and culture.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The biggest thing I’ve done was pack my life into a 23kg suitcase, leave everything behind to live in a country I had never visited, and then I did it all over again
