About Me
Hi! I'm Jade
Painter, multipassionate person. I grew up in the Southern US, lived in Tanzania and San Francisco, and am now living in NYC. I’m constantly getting myself into adventures and misadventures, so I have lots of stories to share!
I'll be traveling indefinitely starting March 13th, exploring different cities to find where I might want to live next - Starting with London, then onto Amsterdam and Paris. I also would love to stop in Barcelona to see the whimsical Gaudi architecture and a flamenco performance.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to meet unique, inspiring people! Exploring a city solo is fun, but the experience is so much richer when you connect with people
Interests
I like going to places that have a distinctive personality and feel hyper-specific to the city/neighborhood/block I’m in. There are plenty of beautiful cafes, but your favorite one has something else about it, right? It feels specific, personal, special, but it isn’t easy to describe why. That’s exactly the sort of place I love to find!
I also love architectural oddities, museums, unusual cocktails, live jazz, samba, bossa, funky clubs with a DJ playing songs I’ve never heard before, walking around the city and parks…
If you have a special interest you'd like to share, please do! I'm truly curious about everything, and excited to try new things.
