Hello, I'm Jad :D I was raised in Lebanon, and now I'm studying Aerospace Engineering and Physics at MIT in Cambridge, MA. I'm also minoring in Theater Arts! I love music and dancing to it, and I'm training on MIT's ballroom team. I really enjoy connecting with people, and sharing the moments as they come :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet people, connect with them, learn about their experiences and share mine. When I'm traveling, I want to discover local places and immerse myself in the culture like it's mine. I think I've learned the most and changed the most by living in a new culture. Something about being far away from everything you've known opens your eyes and ears, tingles your smell and taste, and wakes you up to the touch of life within you and without.

When I'm home, I'd like to host travelers, so I can share my culture as well as discover new places with them. Sometimes, the closest places to us are the ones that we have yet to discover.
