Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I learned about this wonderful community when I met a couchsurfer in Vienna. That same evening, I joined my first CS meet-up and love the travel community!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music taste varies greatly, but lately a lot of symphonic scores: Gladiator, Inception, Princess Mononoke, Journey (video game). Old school rock.
Movies: Inception, 1917, Lord of the Rings.
TV shows: Breaking Bad, Rick and Morty, Stargate, Doctor Who (Eccleston to Capaldi)
Books: Dune, Sapiens, Dare to Lead, Prisoners of Geography, Ender's Game.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Launched a student-funded satellite into space!
Learned how to swim and then raced a half ironman triathlon in the same year.
Built a driftwood shelter on a Northern Ontario rock beach that survived the winter!

I'm very curious about physics, entrepreneurship, and the different ways people live around the world. I'd love to share what I've learned and learn something new from you!

I raced a half ironman triathlon in September 2023. I'm happy to share any tips and tricks on swimming, biking, running (and importantly consistent training).

Happy to help out in whatever ways I can: cooking, cleaning dishes, home hardware projects, etc.
