ABOUT ME

I am a proud Canadian that has caught the travel bug. My friends tell me to settle down because I can't pick one place to live. I lived in Mexico for one year which is where I discovered the beauty of another country and decided to keep on travelling and discovering. I basically consider myself an honorary Mexican although I have about 6 countries on my list of future places "to live", and my list of places "to visit" only keeps growing.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This past year I discovered couch surfing when I was working as an au pair in France bordering Geneva. I took a trip around France and couch surfed my way around the country. I also couch surfed quite a bit on other trips in Europe. Now I am back in Canada and think there really is no better way to travel!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

There is something priceless about meeting people that will take you under their wing in a new place. Especially when travelling alone, couch surfing is so nice to give you some tips or even just to share dinner at the end of the day!

I like theatre, learning languages, adventures…my siblings joke that there is nothing I am NOT interested in because I am constantly coming up with new things I need to learn: skateboarding, surfing, sewing…

I have to say I do have a particular passion for language and I am always battling with which language I want to focus on "next." I am headed to Brazil this June so Portuguese is my current project. Next, Italian!

I love finding out what makes someone's eyes light up. I think everyone has (or should) have something that they can talk about that just makes them smile and puts that sparkle in their eye. Once you find that out, you are bound to have a meaningful conversation.
