I was born and raised in Chicago, graduated with a bachelor's degree from Cornell College, and moved back to Chicago, where I am currently employed. A deep passion for learning has led me to many amazing jobs and places and I live for each new experience.

I've surfed a few times, would love to more, and look forward to hosting folks from all over!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Despite my limited Couchsurfing experiences, I happened to surf at a man's house in Ohio with a couple of friends. He turned out to be an ex-Senator, and the moment we walked in, he equipped us with a glass of wine and some dough for us to make pasta. We spent the night talking about his amazing life and various social justice movements. We awoke to crepes and tickets to a community play that night, along with more amazing and inspiring stories. One of the coolest experiences of my life.

French, how to do small-scale gardening, how to can and preserve foods, how to cook, how to ski, how to play guitar, how to manipulate Excel (if you're into that sorta thing)

run with you, hike with you, share stories and beer with you, show you where to get the best food and drank depending on your mood, share book and film and music recommendations
