Overview
About Me
Hi! I am originally from Idaho, U.S.A, but I have also lived in Ecuador, and now England! I am an adventure seeking and nature loving dancer who is always looking for the next best place to eat. When I'm not traveling, I am attending a university in Manchester, and studying Wildlife Conservation and Zoo Biology. I only have three years before I finish my studies to see as much of Europe as possible, after which I hope to work as a vet in the Amazon Rainforest. I adore traveling and seeing all the biodiversity the world has to offer.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Most of my experience with travel involves staying with host families, so I've learned to appreciate the importance of having a local perspective to help guide the trip, and I love meeting new people and learning new things about different countries and their cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books
My taste in music ranges anything from Reggaton to Classic Rock, as long as you can dance to it, I'll listen to it. My favorite book is the Little Prince, but I am currently enjoying reading 'Wolf Land' by Carter Niemeyer, which is about the reintroduction of Grey Wolves into the Norther Rockies. My favorite movie is the Goonies, with the Labyrinth and Stand By Me close behind.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
While living in Ecuador, I was given the amazing opportunity to help rehabilitate a Peregrine Falcon. While the process of getting her to trust me enough to administer medical treatment was a long one, it was by far the most rewarding experiences I've ever had. She taught me patience, fierce independence, and (through a minor incident) even gave me seven stitches to remember her by.
Teach, Learn, Share
One of my favorite things about traveling is the exchange of cultures, stories, and food. I believe that that the exchange goes both ways, and through this the world slowly becomes a more inclusive and understanding place.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love sharing my Latino heritage through family recipes, and have experience teaching basic salsa and bachata dance lessons. In addition to working extensively with animals, I have also been bartending for three years and can make a mean cocktail.
